Emphasis is placed on current legal issues impacting digital distribution, streaming platforms, sampling, and emerging technologies that include AI-generated content. The course also introduces the essentials of trademarking, examining its relevance to branding, innovation, and entrepreneurship within the music and entertainment industries. Through case studies and practical assignments, students will learn to navigate the legal frameworks that shape music industry law and intellectual property ofthe digital age.
