Communication: Broadcast/Digital Media (BS)

The BS in Broadcast/Digital Media degree is designed to develop the next generation of leaders by helping students develop the skills and experience needed to thrive as a broadcast/digital media professional. This degree will develop a broad range of competencies required of a broadcast/digital media leader with emphasis given to developing both studio/television and live sports production, content creation, radio production, and more.

A 120-credit-hour minimum for a bachelor’s degree is required, including 36 upper-level credit hours.

At least 12 credit hours in the major program must be completed at Dallas Baptist University, including nine upper-level course hours.

Minimum GPA Required for Graduation from Dallas Baptist University: DBU requires a minimum institutional cumulative, major, and minor GPA of 2.0.
